Swap Completed
Basket Received
I would like to thank Sandy from Maryland for my basket.
And as an added surprise she included a rug mug.
(The photo does not do the items justice – sorry!)
I’ve already put both these items to use.
The basket I made is currently winging it’s way to it’s recipient.
So that is my first swap completed.
I enjoyed making something for someone else – I hope they like it!
The feeling of anticipation, waiting for what I was to receive, was fun too!
So I can see that I will be looking out to join more swaps in the future.
But my next project is to make a quilt for “A” friend to brighten his bedroom.
Then to start a quilt as a wedding gift.
Oh and not forgetting that picnic quilt. And …
The list could grow and grow – I need to focus.

I’ve joined my first swap!

That means that I have just over a month to make a basket for someone somewhere.
I need to want until I am told who I am making this basket for as they may have preferences but ideas are already floating around my head.
I’ve finally started the picnic quilt (still to be named) and it looks good.
So feeling good about things.
